I have been looking for a lock to go on my refrigerator.
That would be chocolate syrup drizzled ALL OVER the carpet (luckily the furniture escaped unscathed).
It took both David and I (and a carpet cleaner, and 2+ bottles of hydrogen peroxide and stain remover and a now ruined towel) scrubbing for 2 hours to get it (almost) out of the carpet.
The culprit

TOTALLY looks like a mug shot! He just needs to be holding the card. Sorry about your carpet:( Not fun.
