Beus Pond

This afternoon, we went over to Beus Pond for a little walk and to feed the ducks. Brychan had a blast! Of course, he was equally interested in other children and dogs passing by as he was the ducks, but that just meant he was more fully entertained!

Brushing Our Teeth is Fun to Do!!

I didn't realize until today the morning routine David and Brychan had. Brychan LOVES to brush his teeth - I knew that. He comes to brush anytime David or I are brushing. But I watched them go through their little "ritual" this morning and thought it was so cute! When Brychan wanted to brush his teeth again this afternoon (David was getting ready for a priesthood meeting), I had to document everything.

Brushing...

Still brushing...

Rinsing...

Wiping...

All done!!

Happy Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary to us! I had so much fun going through wedding photos! We celebrated Friday night and all day Saturday. Friday night, Brychan stayed with family and we went to dinner at an adorable restaurant in Salt Lake (Tuscany) and then to see Angels & Demons. Saturday morning Dave and I enjoyed sleeping in, a leisurely breakfast, and lunch at a little diner in Morgan. We drove the back way across to Emigration Canyon (it was a beautiful day!) and picked Brychan up in Salt Lake. The 3 of us spent the afternoon at the aquarium in Sandy, which we all enjoyed. We had such a wonderful weekend, and it was so fun to have an extra long date with my husband! The past two years have been wonderful and we look forward to many more to come!

Yard Work

David has the patience of Job. Every week, Brychan HAS to go outside and help his daddy mow the lawn. Usually, David will just carry him in one arm while pushing the mower, but this week, Brychan got to help push. Our yard is huge and mowing it by yourself takes a nice chunk of time. Mowing it with the "help" of a toddler takes FOREVER. But, being the good daddy that he is, Brychan still gets to help. Well, for at least part of it. I don't want him to go deaf before he turns 3!

Surprise!

Yep...the shirt says it all! Baby Stander #2 is due to arrive early December. December 8th, to be exact (Mark & Jocie - it's a race!!). Everybody received the email to check our big announcement on the blog at the same time, so it will be interesting to see who contacts us about it first. Grandma Davis? Grandma Stander? Or will we be surprised? I wish I had some fantastic prize for the first one to call, but you'll just have to be happy knowing you were the first to congratulate us.

I am VERY sad to be leaving my OB/GYN here - she is amazing. So those of you in Phoenix...I need a good doctor! Any suggestions?

Oh. And Ashley, I'm sorry for lying to you last night!!
