I am finally getting around to posting Christmas photos! Better late than never, right?
After a fun day of playing, baking, watching Christmas movies, drinking hot chocolate, putting reindeer food on the front yard and looking at Christmas lights, the boys went to bed (Brychan fell asleep at 6:30!) and Santa made his visit!
Unfortunately, the boys woke up again after Santa had made his visit and noticed all their fantastic loot right before midnight. Needless to say, we stayed up for quite awhile after while the boys played with their bike and scooter. Luckily, they were so excited about the big things that they didn't even notice the stockings, so we were able to go to bed with some Santa surprises still intact.
Christmas morning, Lala showed up bright and early and we all sat around and waited for Kehlton to wake up. Once he did, we enjoyed opening presents, eating yummy cinnamon rolls, drinking eggnog and then rushing to get ready for church! As expected, our Christmas-themed sacrament meeting was absolutely wonderful.
One of the best things about living in Arizona is that we don't have to wait 3-4 months to go outside and play with all our new toys! Lala had Bug riding his bike all by himself in no time...
And Kehlton just enjoyed the rides. It won't take him long to be racing around on that scooter by himself. He already has the foot movement down; he just needs a little bit of practice!
I happened to win a couple of super hero capes on a random blog right before Christmas, and they made great stocking stuffers. I love that it looks like Kehlton has a light-saber or something of the sort in this photo, but it's just a fun remote control car.
We had such a wonderful Christmas holiday!! It was so nice that David had a few days off (I don't go back to work until January 10). We really enjoyed just lazing around the house with nothing pressing to do.
We really missed getting to see all of our family members this year! We hope you'll all decide you need a break from your winter weather and come visit soon!
