Little Helper

As of late, this is Kehlton's favorite place in the house to hang out.  He will stand there forever washing dishes and/or the sink.

Cute, no?

That was until today when he realized there is an entire drawer full of clean silverware and other serving utensils right next to the sink.

This is what my silverware drawer looks like right now,

And here are all of the contents of that said drawer;

sitting in a dirty mixing bowl full of water.

The boys have a book about 5 Little Monkeys making a surprise cake for their Momma while she's still sleeping.  While I was at work the other morning, David came out to find that particular book on the counter, along with the KitchenAid pulled out and flour and sugar spilled all over the counter, with some sugar and water mixed in the bowl.

How can you get upset when they're trying to surprise Momma with cupcakes?

Peeping Tom

David was working up on our roof over the weekend and happened to have left a small ladder out in the backyard. Brychan was absolutely fascinated with what the neighbors had in their backyards!

He learned that at least two of our neighbors have swimming pools.

"There's another swimming pool, Mommy!"

"We don't have a swimming pool..."

"I like swimming!"

Too bad he's already learning that the grass is always greener on the other side!
